 | Physician Assistants and Registered Nurses These team members assist with the initial consultation, consent and follow-up after treatments. Nurses also assist with IV placement and contrast injection during CT and/or MRI. |
 | Other Healthcare Professionals It takes a team with depth to treat patients on the CyberKnife. Everyone from office personnel who assist with appointments and insurance questions to technologists who assist in CT and MRI scanning. Radiologists and pulmonologists also are consulted to help pinpoint the location of tumors and lesions, as well as to place fiducials, as needed.
